On Sunday I’ll turn 50 years old, and this year I am forgoing the gifts and the celebration (although I've heard whispers of a surprise party) and asking my friends and family to make a donation to support an organization I've long admired - charity: water.

It is a great cause and a global problem -- 663 million people in the world live without clean water. charity: water and
its founder Scott Harrison have come up with a unique way for individuals to donate a birthday to do some good. And 100% of the money goes directly to build water projects, as overhead costs are covered by a small group of donors.

Here’s my campaign link - it takes less than 1 minute to donate:

Huge thanks to everyone who has helped me through the decades. I'm happy to say it has never been boring, and I look forward to more fun and adventures with each of you in the years ahead.
