Having read about Ashley's wedding in Delaware the next day, and not heard back to my last few emails, just want to make sure ... I continue to get affirmative responses from everyone, so I hope we're a go. Still would like to talk logistics at some point when you have a second. J

But for all the controversy that’s surrounded the iconic breast-cancer charity lately, don’t read too much into it. We’ve learned that Joe and Jill Biden have a pretty solid conflict the weekend of June 2: It’s their daughter’s wedding day.

Sources familiar with the matter tell us that Ashley Biden and her fiancé Dr. Howard Krein will tie the knot that Saturday in Delaware.

I think we're planning on doing the family picnic Saturday afternoon and the Saturday night event, probably not the Friday night event given our reception may run into the evening and I don't anticipate needing more alcohol after that. Lori Travers (who I invited after the fact) rented a suite at the Four Seasons, if you're thinking Friday night afterparty ...
