Next-to-New Sale Be among the 100+ volunteers that it takes to run the SFS Next-to-New Sale, the School’s hugely popular sale of quality used items. The Next-to-New Sale is an event that touches the lives of those both inside and outside the Sidwell community. It brings people together, offers great bargains, benefits outside organizations, and raises money for financial aid. The sale will run October 18-20 with collection and sorting beginning in September. Show your interest by signing up now (http://www.signupgenius.com/go/805094DA8A6292-sfsnext) and one of the leaders of the sale will contact you at the beginning of the school year with more information. Signing up does not commit you to anything; it just gets you on the list to hear more detailed information in September. We need your help and the more people involved the more fun it is! It's a great way to meet other parents in the school and to give back. Donate: We will begin accepting donations the first week of school and hope you will save your items. If you are moving this summer and need to donate items before September, please contact the Events for Student Scholarships office at 202-537-8110 or by e-mail at events@sidwell.edu. We are also looking for moving boxes. PA Announcements Sorry, no news is available at this time. Other News Quaker Quotes If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person.
