<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">As May comes to a close and the seniors have largely completed their Senior Projects, the school seems much quieter and the building a bit empty.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>There are additional graduation matters to address, though, as we look toward Commencement.<o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"></o:p></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"> </o:p></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">All parents should have received an order form for a DVD of the graduation ceremony that will be taped by a videographer and a white envelope for ordering a class picture taken on the day of graduation.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you wish to have a copy of that DVD, please be sure to mail your order form to the videographer prior to June 12<sup>th</sup>.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you would like to order a copy of the class photo, Quaker students, lifers or alumni photos, please be sure to turn in your white order envelope to my office no later than Monday, June 11<sup>th.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></sup>Pictures of each graduate descending the stairs of Zartman House will be taken by our photographer as the School’s gift to each student and will be mailed in mid-July.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>If you require another copy of the DVD order form, please e-mail me at <a href="mailto:parkers@sidwell.edu">parkers@sidwell.edu</a><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Additional photograph order forms are available in my office. <o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"></o:p></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'bodoni mt'; font-size: 11pt;">Seniors are required to report to the cafeteria no later than 8:00am on the morning of June 12th.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Parents are welcome to drop them off and return later.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Seniors may drive, but they must park on 37<sup>th</sup> street. There will be no parking on campus for seniors because we are trying very hard to reserve as many spaces as possibl</span><span style="font-family: 'bodoni mt'; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt;">e</span> on campus for families.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Parents who do come early with a senior and wish to stay are welcome to wait.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Due to increased security measures, this year we will be opening the Graduation site for seating at 9:00am in order to allow ample time for guests to enter and seat themselves.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Attached you will find a list of prohibited items that you may want to familiarize yourself with to ensure a speedy entrance to the seating area. A family member may enter at 9:00am to reserve seats for your entire party, but s/he must remain with the seats in order to hold them.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:30am, with a reception for everyone in the Sledge Garden immediately thereafter.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>All activities are usually over by 1:00pm.<o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"></o:p></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal"><o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"> </o:p></p>
<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">Finally, with respect to parking:<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Families needing handicapped parking should call or e-mail me to reserve one of the spaces available on Zartman Circle.<o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"></o:p></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;" class="MsoNormal">In closing, on <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Sunday June 10<sup>th</sup></b> there will be Meeting for Worship at 4:00 pm for Seniors, parents, and faculty in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room.<span style="color: #ff0000;"> </span> Please remember that <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">all</b> seniors must attend both graduation rehearsals on <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Wednesday June 6<sup>th</sup> from 10:00am – 12:30pm</b> and <b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Monday June 11<sup>th</sup> from 3:00 – 4:00pm.</b> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In addition, please help make sure your child is on time at 8:00am on June 12<sup>th</sup> to be ready for the senior class picture and commencement activities!<o:p _rdEditor_exists="1"></o:p></p>
