LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL

In his last eight starts on the PGA TOUR and dating to a share of the first-round lead at the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship, Jason Dufner has held at least a share of the lead after a round 10 times. Entering the 21st week of the regulation season, Jason Dufner already has the most leads / co- leads in the first 3 rounds since Tiger Woods had 10 in 2009. Dufner's name may not be as well-known as many others, but his recent play has kept him in fine company. He joins Hunter Mahan as multiple winners this season.

JUST THE STATS

Jason Dufner at the HP Byron Nelson ranked 2nd in driving accuracy (42 of 56 for 75.0 percent), 9th in driving distance (316.6 yards) and 1st for greens in regulation (58 of 72 or 80.6 percent). He ranked 56th in the field for strokes gained in putting (0.406 per round).

COLONIAL KEYS TO VICTORY

The 2011 Crowne Plaza Invitational champion David Toms, relied on his solid tee-green game ranking T-4th for driving accuracy, T-4th for greens in regulation and 3rd for proximity to the hole. On the greens, he ranked 8th for strokes gained - putting outperforming the field by +1.487 strokes per round.

In the first two rounds, Toms tied the all-time first 36-hole scoring record (124) with back-to-back rounds of 62. Through the first two rounds, he led the field in greens in regulation (86%), proximity to the hole (21') converting a field leading 16 birdies and was the only player without a bogey. Toms was an amazing 11 under par on the par 4's through the two rounds (11 shots better than the field average of even par).

ONES TO WATCH FOR

Rickie Fowler has drastically improved his play from tee-to-green this season. In 2011, Fowler ranked 157th for driving accuracy and T-120th for greens in regulation. This season, he's currently 36 and 17 respectively. He has the second best active streak on TOUR for consecutive rounds at par or better. Dating back to the opening round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, he has 12 consecutive rounds at par or better.

Matt Kuchar currently holds the TOUR record for longest active streaks without missing a cut on the PGA TOUR. He has made 18 consecutive starts since his last missed cut at the 2011 RBC Canadian Open. Over that time, he has turned in an impressive performance with one win (2012 PLAYERS), 6 top tens, and 16 top twenty-five finishes on TOUR.

GolfLogix's Zach Johnson won the 2010 Crowne Plaza Invitational and has been one of the top performers at Colonial Country Club in recent years. Zach has finished T-9, 1st and 4th in his last three Crowne Plaza starts playing his last 12 consecutive rounds in the 60's here. He's a combined 41 under par in his last three starts a Colonial Country Club dating back to 2009 and he is only player to participate in each of the last three years of the Crowne Plaza Invitational and not have a round above the 60's!
