Vlasic now a Principal Mark Vlasic has become a Principal of Madison Law & Strategy Group, PLLC. He leads Madison's international practice. In addition to his international law, asset recovery, public policy, and business diplomacy/intelligence roles at Madison, and his teaching role at Georgetown University Law Center, he was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the White House Fellow Foundation & Association and the Fulbright Association in DC. Ever active in World Bank and United Nations-related matters, he recently returned from a United Nations Alliance of Civilizations delegation to Morocco, Jordan and Saudi Arabi, where he met with senior government, civil society and education leaders. Arkedis joins as Senior Advisor Jim Arkedis is now Senior Advisor to Madison Strategies, LLC. Jim is a strategic advisor who focuses on the intersection of policy, politics and media. His experience includes working for a Washington, DC think tank, consulting on political campaign, counseling non-profit groups on strategic communication, and working in the intelligence community. In addition to his work with Madison, Jim is a senior fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute, where he also directs foreign policy and national security work. He's published and edited white papers on the defense budget, China's military, the US economy, and political messaging. His work has been published in the Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic Magazine, and Foreign Policy Magazine, and he's appeared on CNN, Fox News, and BBC. He is a Fellow with the Truman National Security Project. Jim was an intelligence specialist with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service at the Department of Defense. Jim has written hundreds of detailed analyses of terrorist threats the United States Navy and Marine Corps and participated in offensive counter-terrorism operations and investigations in Europe and North Africa.
