As you know from Jennifer, she begins 6 weeks of daily radiation on Monday, May 18. She's going in with a very positive attitude and we're both certain it will be fine, but fatiguing. Unfortunately, I have a business meeting in London on the 18th that I can't postpone, and a Board of Directors meeting in NYC on the 19th and 20th. I feel terrible about not being there in person for her, but she has stoically said she'll be fine and Andrew is living at home if there's an issue. So I have a favor to ask...if you have a chance, would you please send Jennifer an email or give her a call either leading into her radiation on Monday or sometime early that week? If I were her, I'd have some trepidations, and since I won't be there in person for her, I know she'd be comforted hearing from family and friends to help her get through the first few days. Please don't let her know I've asked you to do this - I just want to surround her with lots of love that week in my absence. And please keep her in your thoughts and prayers - your many kind gestures and prayers have kept her spirits up! Thanks so much.
