I wanted to follow up on Senator Reid's email from last month. There is still space on the Searchlight Tahoe Victory Fund Retreat, June 29 - July 1. We'll be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Incline Village - a beautiful property with plenty of great things to do on-site.

On Friday evening, Senator Reid and his colleagues will join us for dinner at a lake front property within walking distance of the hotel. On Saturday morning we'll have a briefing with our political strategists and a Q & A session with the members. Guests will be free Saturday afternoon to enjoy the Lake and all it has to offer. On Saturday evening, the members will again host a dinner at Shakespeare Ranch. Sunday is a free day for guests to relax before heading home.

The cost for the weekend is $10,000 to the Searchlight Tahoe Victory Fund. That breaks out to $5,000 for Searchlight Leadership Fund and $2,500 each to the campaigns of Bob Casey and Jon Tester. The invite is here - www.harryreid.com/tahoeinvite

A lot has changed in the last 12 months. Around the country, our Senate races are looking pretty good. After my friend Kent Conrad announced his plans to retire, who would have thought we'd have a candidate in North Dakota who is 7 points ahead of her opponent. Could anyone have predicted how successful Elizabeth Warren would be?

There is still much work to be done - around the country and in Nevada especially. One of my responsibilities as Majority Leader is to help my Senators raise money for their campaigns. And I set up the Searchlight Leadership Fund to do just that. Since it's inception, the Searchlight Leadership Fund has contributed over $1.7 million dollars to Democrats running for federal office.

At the end of June, I will be hosting a very special event to benefit two of my best Senators - Jon Tester of Montana and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania. The Searchlight Tahoe Victory Retreat will take place from June 29 - July 1, at the Hyatt Regency in Lake Tahoe. You will have a chance to spend some time with my colleagues and me, while also being able to enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe and all it has to offer.
