Meet Catholic Charities' Class of 2012 from the Spanish Catholic Center Pre-Apprenticeship Green Construction Training program! These 51 men and women, primarily Spanish-speaking immigrants, successfully completed our nationally-certified Green Construction Training Program. The curriculum focuses on employable skill sets that will help grads land jobs improving our community. Kids with autism face special challenges, but programs like Community Companions (part of Catholic Charities' Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute) make sure they have support, a community, and of course a lot of fun! By visiting the community after school, kids get the chance to socialize and practice their life skills, all with the safe guidance of our staff.
