Dear Friend,

Last week CER's team was fortunate to attend the Young Women’s Leadership Network (YWLN)'s 3rd annual CollegeBound Initiative (CBI) celebration. One of the evening's honoree's, The Bezos Family Foundation (President, Jackie Bezos), said it best when referring to the star students who have worked so hard to get a chance at college:

"Behind every super executive is a super mom."

Swap "executive" for "student" - and she really is right. Moms across the country have - and continue to be - the forces that help set bars higher, move needles towards growth and change in their communities quicker, and at the end of the day continue to push to form and shape their children (and often those other than their own too) into the leaders they strive to become.

Will you help CER continue to support all the rockstar moms, parents and grassroot leaders across the country to help promote choice and quality education for all? [1]Make a gift today.

And, as you celebrate Mother's Day - let's give a big shout out to all those "super moms" doing their part to make all of us better.

As always, CER thanks you for your ongoing support to make schools better for all children!

Happy Mother's Day!

Best,

Stephanie Heishman
Sr. Director of Development
