1) They are checking if Mel can write the letter. They said even the acct letter was a stretch for the underwriters but they understood that there were a few different accountants and would ask. K-1s still preferred option.
2) They are also now starting to ask some questions about Pack Rat and would like information from Pack Rat's accountant and a letter from him. Assume it is OK to ask Tom to help out here? Issue is that there is a loss due to the loan for Pack Rat that is being rollover every year and they want to make sure that the loan won't come due next year. I think Tom can attest to that and it should be OK.
