One last thing Mitch reminded me of with his email -- while the issue with
the NFL is mostly about business I am always struck by the statement made by
Jacob Marley's ghost when Scrooge calls him a good man of business,

"Business! Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business;
charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were all my business. The
dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of
my business!"

Would that the NFL and so many others see this as not just a money-making
opportunity but as a truly lifesaving awareness activity.
