The 2011 DAGA Fall Policy Conference is just around the corner! It is to be
held at the Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa at 100 Boyes Boulevard, Sonoma, CA on
September 14-15, 2011. DAGA will visit California’s wine country for the
2011 DAGA Fall Policy Conference. We are offering a wine tasting, vineyard
dinner and great discussion at this year’s event. _Registration for this
event is now closed._

We expect a great turn out for this event with at least 14 AGs confirmed as
well as more than 200 members and guests. The following Attorneys General

block at the Fairmont has sold out. In the event that you have not yet made

is 5:00 PM on Friday, September 9th._ If you do not cancel at least five
days in advance of arrival, you will be responsible for one room night. If

attempt to resell your room. DAGA will do its best to resell your room, but
if we are unable, you will be responsible for any fees associated with

Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock announced Wednesday that he intends
to seek the open gubernatorial seat in Montana in 2012. The first-term
Attorney General has remained extremely popular since his election in 2008
and is considered a favorite for the Democratic nomination. The seat will be
open in 2012, since current Governor Brian Schweitzer (D) is term limited.

General Bullock made his announcement in a [10]short video Wednesday he
posted on his campaign website. The video comes out just before General
Bullock launches a state-wide kickoff tour, he will travel to five campaign
events over the next week.

As governor General Bullock hopes to create good paying jobs, and attract
new business to the state in an effort to “make Montana the last best place,
not just for postcards, but for people, too.”
