Hi, all -- here's a cool message from Renee Fried (Rebecca's mom): Did you know that school closes early on November 17, at noon, for a teacher professional day? Now that we've got your attention... are you wondering what to do with your 8th grader after school lets out early? Why not go to the International Spy Museum? We will all meet at the museum for the interactive spy experience, “Operation Spy <http://www.spymuseum.org/exhibition-experiences/interactive-spy-experiences/operation-spy/>,” followed by a well-earned snack at Shake Shack right next door. (Spying is hard work!) Operation Spy is an active experience for ages 12 and above. Your secret agents will encounter some low light levels and confining spaces, an elevator, motion simulators, sound effects, and physical and mental challenges. The tour costs $14.95, lasts about an hour and, when combined with admission to the full museum, is $27.95. *There may be a limited number of spaces available on the tour however. If you are interested in joining the group, please contact Renee Fried at reneefriedzone@gmail.com <reneefriedzone@gmail.com> or at (240) 401-3932 <(240)%20401-3932> as soon as possible for further details and tour times.* *NOTE: This is NOT a Sidwell Friends-sanctioned event. It's just an outing for 8th graders. (However, we checked with Ms. Selby and she thinks this is a dandy idea!)
