Joe Biden, Scott Brown keep it Light By Inside Track | Tuesday, September 20, 2011 | http://www.bostonherald.com | The Inside Track Photo by AP (File) Sen. Scott Brown was able to get lubed up for Sunday’s Pats-Chargers game — courtesy of Vice President Joe Biden! Seems that many months ago, Brown was researching the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty and he was chatting up the veep. When Biden asked whether he had Scott’s vote, the junior senator replied “not yet,” to which Biden responded, “Well, I have (Sen. John) McCain’s vote.” Brown informed the second-in-command, that no, he didn’t have McCain’s vote and Biden bet him a case of beer that he did. Turns out, McCain did not vote for the treaty, and last week, on Brown’s birthday, a case of Bud Light arrived in his office along with a note from Biden that read: “This is long overdue.” And yes, the senator requested Bud Light. He’s got to keep his boyish figure, after all . . . Eric D.
