I could not agree more. This article and the returns day article sets the table PERFECTLY for 2015. ( the News Journal did not mean to do this, but they did ) First, You have the three strongest possible Democratic primary candidates saying just the right thing on the record Carney said, "As far as I know, Beau is still running. Last time I talked to him, he was still committed to doing that. I don't see any indication that he's not." Gordon- "Whoever says he's not running doesn't have the facts," Gordon said. "All these other rumors are not true. People are putting out that he's sick. He's not and he's running. They're going to get started within six months on the governor's race and he's going to be everywhere." Denn - "I'm planning to serve four years as attorney general." Second, The pictures of Beau in the Humvee - Mike Deaver, Ronald Reagan's PR guru said it is all about the pictures - most people will see the pictures and give lie to the news journal'a whiney " denying repeated requests to speak with reporters" Third - Bonini announcing is a gift. it complicate things for the republicans. If anyone from new castle county, where all the voters are gets in (lavelle) , the Repubilcans will be faced with an ugly up state, down state primary. Fourth - we can maintain a policy of silence on A Beau Governorship for the foreseeable future- obviously nothing will stop the dover related chattering by those who live or die on who is Governor, but the 99.99% of the rest will assume Beau is running and winning. Finally, Beau can focus on his post AG life - he remains the candidate in Delaware who can beat anyone, anywhere, any time. I can't figure out how to copy/paste it from my phone... ASM On Nov 7, 2014, at 1:37 PM, tedkaufman@comcast.net wrote: Every once in a while something really big happens. For Beau, yesterday was one of those days. What actually happened at the event, the reception for Beau, the coverage of what happened and the pictures in the Humvee made it a very big deal.
