Hello Archmere Community,

We hope you are enjoying the new, interactive elements of the Archmere
Academy Web site and will continue to stay in touch with Archmere through
this virtual community! If you have not already logged into the Web site
using the user name and password assigned to you this past August, we
encourage you to do so. Logging in gives you access to additional parts of
the Web site - like calendars, portal pages and personalized information.

*Logging in also gives you access to the online directory and allows you to
update your information through your profile.*

Please note that the online directory has specific security settings in
place. *No one can view a directory unless they are logged in and are a
member or related member to that constituency group*. For example, the
alumni directory is available only to alumni, parents of alumni, teachers &
staff. Likewise, the student directory is available only to students,
parents, teachers & staff.

Further privacy options are available as well. When you log into the Web
site and click on "My Profile" there is a link at the bottom left of the
page that reads "Select information to be published in the online
community." You can follow that link to determine what information you wish
to share with your peers.

We encourage those who are wary about sharing their information to choose
this option, rather than deleting vital information from their page. *Please
understand that when you update your information on the Web site, you are
asking us to update your information in our database, not just in the online
directory. *For this reason, we ask you to take care when making edits and
note that there are some profile fields that cannot be edited. If you need
to make a change to something in your profile and you cannot edit it, please
send your change to webmaster@archmereacademy.com.
