Dear Members of the Board, In recognition of the service and sacrifice of our veterans, Matt Harrington has provided copies of a new book FOR LOVE OF COUNTRY: What Our Veterans Can Teach Us About Citizenship, Heroism, and Sacrifice for all Members of the Board and WFP USA staff. Written by Starbucks president and CEO Howard Schultz and Rajiv Chandrasekaran of The Washington Post, the book recognizes the extraordinary courage, dedication and sacrifice of American veterans on the battlefield as well the contributions that veterans bring to American communities and companies as they re-enter civilian life and the workforce. The stories included in the book will help remind us that we should honor our veterans throughout the year, not just on Veterans Day. Thank you Matt for sharing the book and reminding us of the debt we owe to those who serve the country.
