I thought you would be interested in my latest op-ed: "America Stands to Lose as China Places Bets on Developing World."

With many calling the latest tariffs the official start of a trade war with China, I draw attention to how China's diplomatic and foreign assistance investments are far outpacing our own.

Frankly, it hasn't gone unnoticed around the country. I heard some of the fear of America being left behind in recent travel throughout the Rust Belt when one manufacturer told me: "Our competitors are playing to win, while America is playing small ball."
