Just over a month ago we won a decisive victory for the future of our state, team -- and less than a week from today, we need to prove what that victory means.

On July 14, we'll face our biggest test since primary day a month ago: our first public reporting deadline of the general election -- and it's a test that many will take as a benchmark of our ability to take on Gov. Reynolds in November. So, we need your help to prove we're up to the challenge.

Just this week in Reynolds' administration, we've seen:

- Tariffs go in to effect that could cripple our state economy -- with a price tag as high as $1.2 billion.
- How the privatization disaster will force the University of Iowa to no longer accept dental patients with Medicaid.
- That our state has no proof on its claim that it's saving money through privatized Medicaid -- while tens of thousands of Iowans are denied services and providers face systematic delays in payment.

We need to act quickly, and we need to act now to elect new leadership in our state that will put people first and take our state's budget and economy seriously -- but every step in the lead-up to November's election, we have benchmarks we must meet in order to show we're ready to take on Gov. Reynolds and get this job done.
