"We've never seen this before."

I hear this a lot about the current President -- and it's true that his conduct in the White House is shocking the nation, Republicans and Democrats alike. His policies and behavior do not reflect our shared values and are hurting America's standing in the globe.

But, here in Arizona, we have seen this before. Joe Arpaio, convicted criminal and ex-Maricopa County Sheriff, was kicked out of office by the people of Maricopa County and Arizona Democrats. We've shown we have the courage to fight for our values and against this kind of behavior. We rallied, organized, and voted him out of office.

The nation may have never seen something like this before. But here in Arizona, we've seen it and we've defeated it.
