Breaking from The Washington Post, R.Hunter: Mitch McConnell just admitted that control of the Senate is "absolutely" in play this fall.

We can't retake the Senate or regain the ability to block the GOP's toxic agenda unless we protect every single Democratic seat come November. That is why I wanted to reach out today on behalf of my friend Sen. Jon Tester, whose race in Montana is shaping up to be one of the most competitive of the cycle.

Trump won Montana by 19 points in 2016, and with everyone from the Koch brothers' network to a McConnell-linked super PAC running attack ads against Jon, he can't win unless he gets help from people like you immediately.

That is why I told him we'd help him raise the $7,500 he needs before midnight - and R.Hunter, I'm counting on you for just $5 to help us meet that mark. Please, we cannot afford to lose Jon's voice or his vote, so I am asking you to give $5 right now to help re-elect Jon Tester so Democrats can take back the Senate this year.

You know as well as I do how important regaining the Senate majority is. Protecting Medicaid, voting rights, our environment, the Supreme Court - all of that is contingent on flipping the Senate blue come November.
