Hey there,

A lot of us feel helpless when we come against a policy so inhumane and un-American as the current Trump Administration's policy of separating children from their families at the border. Apparently, even the First Lady doesn't know what to do.

She says that she wants to "help these children to reunite with their families as quickly as possible" -- but what is she doing?

Today, the First Lady is expected to be touring a shelter in West Phoenix that houses migrant children separated from their families at the border because of her husband's policies. And what is it that she'll be doing there? It's unclear.

Until the First Lady shows that she's taking action -- and I have a feeling that day may never come -- her tours of these facilities are glorified photo ops. And these children need to be protected, not paraded around for the news cameras.

But we are taking action. The best way we can prevent the Trump Administration and Republicans in their tracks is by sending more Arizona Democrats to Washington to hold them accountable.
