I hope you know by now that we never put a goal in front of you that isn't critical, and if we ask this team for something, we know it's possible. When we set our end-of-quarter goal of raising $20,000 by June 30, we knew it was a high bar -- but we also knew our team could do it. Can you chip in $5 right now to make it happen?

Here's the reality we can't ignore: The RGA is fundraising like crazy to keep the Iowa governorship, and we know they're ready to throw as much money as they can at Kim Reynolds' campaign to keep our blue wave at bay.

When they get scared, they start spending, as much as they can -- and everything our team is putting out there should scare them. From our decisive victory in the primary (did you know more votes were cast for Fred in a 5-way primary than for Gov. Reynolds in an uncontested race?) to Cook Political Report's ranking change of our race from "Likely R" to "Toss Up" -- our team should scare the daylights out of them.

We just have to keep up when they start throwing that money around. And that means we need to close out this quarter with the strongest numbers possible. We need to show just how strong this team is and how hard we're willing to work for it, from the grassroots up.
