EMAIL DETAILS

Hi folks, sorry for the length of this email (and honestly, all of the emails I write you…)

Keeping you all updated: Patty and I have been working with Robert Hoopes and his great team at VOX on putting together a real comms plan around our DE programming roll out. The plan is to launch in early April, hopefully that first full week. This will be targeted to DE and maybe a bit of Philly media. We will save the national stuff until later this spring/early this summer. If any of you would like to join our call at 9:30 tomorrow morning, let me know. I don’t have dial in info now, but will provide once I do.

The roll out will be pretty standard:
1. Press release and pitches to the News Journal, local radio, perhaps some Philly TV/print
2. Op-ed in the news journal, working on ideas for that. Best idea thus far is for something written jointly by Hallie and a local survivor of sexual abuse.
3. Social media: as discussed before, we’ll be switching over B’s political FB/Twitter to the foundation and keeping all of those followers. We’ll also have an email blasted to the entire political list and previous donors of the foundations.

Our website will include the members of the board. I would like to speak with each of these folks in advance of the roll out so they are up to speed on what we’re doing. Right now the board is:

Hallie, Ashley, Hunter
Louie Freeh
Adrienne Arsht
Tony Allen
Dr. Borrin
Fred Sears
Xanthi Karoloutsos
Emily Chen

Tony’s fairly up to speed, as I’ve been working with him on securing some funding from BofA and Liffey-Mchugh Foundation. And Emily and Xanthi are as well since they just agreed to join. Patty and I will begin calling through the rest this week. Please let me know if you want us to hold on any of the board until after Easter. Also, did anyone ask Fred to be on the board, or did he just appoint himself? That’s a serious question. I have no problem with him being on it - probably a good idea - but I don’t want to create an awkward situation when I call him.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let me or Patty know.
