Returning Varsity Players & Parents, I hope finals are going well! I wanted to let you know that our Spring Break Trip<https://www.sidwell.edu/parent/upper-school/trips-us-and-athletics> is now posted on our trips page for sign ups and I would love to start locking in Yes’s and deposits! This trip has been so integral in our team development over the last THREE years and I am excited that we are able to do it again! New to the itinerary you will see a City Hunt experience, which should be a great way to team build, bond, and create lasting memories. Similar to last year, I have not yet included freshman/sophomores (who were not on our V roster last year) on this email as I want to give upper-classmen and returners first dibs, and then wait and see how tryouts go! We currently have enough for a JV, but this will be a capped Varsity-only trip. As in the past, you will be free from lacrosse-land from Saturday evening (3/23) until the following Sunday (3/31) of Spring Break! If you already know that you are unable to attend, please let me know ASAP! Details below and itinerary is attached! Please reach out with any and all questions you may have, Coach Z VARSITY GIRLS LACROSSE SPRING BREAK TRIP 2019 WHO: SFS VARSITY GIRLS LACROSSE PLAYERS WHAT: 3 COMPETITIVE LACROSSE GAMES, CITY HUNT ADVENTURE, BEACH, TEAM MEALS, FUN! WHERE: VA BEACH, VA WHEN: MARCH 21-23, 2019 (THURS-SAT) *We will depart from SFS directly after our 4:30pm (3/21) Home Game vs St. Maria Goretti *We will depart from Va Beach directly after our 2nd game on Saturday (3/23) and return by 8:30PM WHY: BECAUSE WE LOVE EACHOTHER, PLAYING TEAMS OUTSIDE OUR COMFORT ZONE PROVIDES GROWTH, & BC YOUR PARENTS NEED A BREAK TOO ☺
