Definitely great day for JRB. Presents him with a lot of opportunities going forward to be portrayed as the deal maker/problem solver.

Also, this has got to help him even more get whatever he wants in the West Wing.

I wonder whether he isn't still better off being the closer on this stuff going forward. The House GOP isn't going to let this debt ceiling thing be pretty.
