Dear Parent,

We are so pleased that you child (or at least one of your children!) opted to join Sidwell's delegation to the 2013 East Ed Middle School Diversity Leadership Conference. The conference is next Tuesday, January 29th. The conference runs from 9-2:30 at Sandy Spring Friends School.

Our group's bus will leave school promptly following silence at 8am. Students need to be at school on time that morning, ideally by 7:50AM. We will leave from the first floor of the Middle School following silence. Students will return to school by 3:30. Please note: students will not return to school until after the regular Tuesday 2PM dismissal and will need to make arrangements for late pick-up if they do not plan to stay for aftercare.

Delegation students are excused from classes on 1/29 but will need to make arrangements with their teachers to complete any missed class work.

Leslie Segal, Michelle Pokorny-Parker, Nan Pickens, Eliza Bright and AB Carneal will accompany participants, and Tim Reagan will direct Vertical Voices, this year's special performers at the conference.
