Thanks for joining our team. I'm Jacky Rosen, and I'm running to serve as Nevada's new Democratic senator.

A little bit about me: After taking out loans and working two jobs to make ends meet, I was the first member of my family to graduate from college. I broke barriers and worked my way up the ranks as a woman in computer programming. I've lived in Nevada now for nearly 40 years - this is where I met my husband, raised my daughter and took care of my parents and in-laws. I gave back to my community as president of my synagogue in Henderson, and now I'm standing up to President Trump in Congress.

What's motivated me my whole life has been the desire to see a problem, work together with others and find smart solutions. We can find smart solutions in Washington, too, but only if we stand up to President Trump's hatred, bigotry and narcissism. I'm running for Senate because I want to fight for the families I talk to every day who have been left behind.

This Senate seat couldn't be more important - already this year, Senator Heller has been a deciding vote to confirm Betsy DeVos, allow states to defund Planned Parenthood clinics and let internet providers sell your data to the highest bidder without your consent. And for years, Senator Heller has been voting over and over again to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and slash Medicaid.

President Trump and Senator Heller are working together to rig the economy and the federal government for the super-wealthy at the expense of people who have to work for a living. Our voices aren't being represented.

Winning in Nevada is how we fix that. This is going to be a huge Senate race for Democrats - our best pickup opportunity this cycle - so I want to keep you updated on everything going on.
