I am pleased to invite you to our second annual Truman Awards Dinner

on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 6PM - 9PM at the St. Regis Hotel in
Washington, DC. This year, we are thrilled to present the Edmund S. Muskie
Distinguished Public Service Award to the Honorable Ray Mabus
<http://trumanproject.org/home/2017-honorees/>.

This prestigious award celebrates individuals with a commitment to public
service and leadership in public policy. Mabus will be recognized for his
distinguished career in the public sector, including his time as the
longest-serving Secretary of the Navy and Marine Corps since World War I.
During his tenure, he demonstrated a strong dedication to many of our
community's values, particularly his commitment to meeting the operational
energy challenges facing the Department of Defense through innovation and
renewables.

As many of you know, this dinner is a cornerstone fundraising event for us,
and we hope to build on the success of last year's inaugural event. I hope
