Per our call this afternoon, please see the following action items.


1) *Baltimore Tunnel Outreach* (more detailed talking points in the
attached doc) – essentially want to set up these meetings to discuss the
project, introduce (or re-introduce them to HNTB and their team) and get
local input on the project (What’s important to them? Key stakeholder
involvement? etc.).

*a. **Set up meeting with Governor O’Malley *

*b. **Set up meeting with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake
(through Governor O’Malley)*

*c. **Discuss project with Amtrak management / BOD*

2) *Portal Bridge Project* (more detailed summary in attached doc) –
essentially want to get Amtrak’s input on their position regarding the lack
of funding ($350mn) for the construction phase of the project. NOTE: Due to
lack of funding NJ Transit has turned its focus to the South Bridge. **

perspective *
