President Trump's House Republicans are pushing a budget that would gut $200 billion from programs like Medicare and Social Security that help older Americans with low incomes and those with disabilities. The GOP's heartless budget rips support away from our most vulnerable communities in order to hand a huge tax cut to the wealthiest Americans.

This budget makes one thing absolutely clear - the Republicans are more worried about pursuing their political agenda than they are about helping everyday Americans.

Instead of finding ways to lift people up, the Republican budget pulls the rug out from under older Americans who rely on Social Security and Medicare to retire with dignity.
