I'm thinking an initial conference call with Lyndon might be helpful , but I would see the process starting with Patty and you working with your counterparts in N.C. to develop an outline of a plan to bring D to L under the Beau Foundation.
Outline should include plans for staff , finances/budget ( including plans for assuming any debt , lease agreements and ownership of assets ) , new board configuration , changes in management responsibilities and/ or job descriptions and plans for marketing the new team .
Report should also provide rationale behind announcing the transaction as a "merger" or an "acquisition" ?
Once we have this information in hand the board sub committee would review/critique the report and most probably schedule a meeting with leadership from D to L -- maybe even schedule a trip to NC to see the operation first hand.
Thoughts from other committee members ?
