OK, I figured it out on my own with very little help from Chuck and Mike. This guy Greg Floyd is the President of Teamsters Local 237, which is made up of the NY City Public Employees. It is either the first or second largest local in the Teamsters (20,000+ members). They don't have a fund because their members are public employees and must be part of NYCERS or NYSERS (this is what I just figured out on my own). Chuck and Mike want you to go by and kiss this guy's ring for 20-30 minutes as he is very influential among the other Teamsters Locals around the country (particularly with other African American union heads as he himself if African American) and wants to be helpful making calls to a bunch of heads of Teamsters Locals for you. Arlene told them you didn't want to talk about NYCERS/NYSERS and they claim to understand. You can decide after you meet him if you want him at the thing on the 14th. If Karen Mazza can come, that may be better, but let's punt on that for now. So, this is an introductory multiplier - no real money to invest but apparently something Chuck and Mike think is important as they go to other Teamsters locals. Any opposition? Eric D.
