Good Friday morning. QUITE THE MOMENT. NYT's Maggie Haberman, who is in Paris with the president, was tweeting that President Donald Trump was pulling up to the viewing stand at the Bastille Day parade as Trump was tweeting about the progress -- or lack thereof -- on repealing and replacing the health care law in the Senate.

-- WHAT THE PRESIDENT SAID: at 3:57 a.m.: "Republicans Senators are working hard to get their failed ObamaCare replacement approved. I will be at my desk, pen in hand!" ... at 4:05 a.m.: "So impt Rep Senators, under leadership of @SenateMajLdr McConnell get healthcare plan approved. After 7yrs of O'Care disaster, must happen!" ... at 4:07 a.m.: "After all of these years of suffering thru ObamaCare, Republican Senators must come through as they have promised!" ... at 4:09 a.m.: ".@VP Mike Pence is working hard on HealthCare and getting our wonderful Republican Senators to do what is right for the people."

-- ONE THOUGHT, before we quickly hand it over to Burgess Everett and Jen Haberkorn: When we were up in the Capitol yesterday, an influential conservative House Republican was skeptical this would sail through his chamber if it passes the Senate. So we'd suggest, Mr. President, that you don't wait at your "desk, pen in hand" for a bit. We're not saying it will not pass the House, but it's not yet even on the floor of the Senate.

WHERE HEALTH CARE STANDS ... "Senate Republicans one vote away from Obamacare repeal failure," by Burgess Everett and Jen Haberkorn: "Senate Republican leaders are praying that their fragile whip count holds over the weekend, as just one more 'no' vote would doom the party's Obamacare repeal effort from even coming up for debate. Two GOP senators, Susan Collins of Maine and Rand Paul of Kentucky, said Thursday afternoon they will oppose a procedural vote next week to bring the bill to the floor.

"GOP leaders are putting immense pressure on about half a dozen other Republican senators not to join them and topple the entire effort. Another 'no' is enough to kill the bill, and would also likely lead to mass defections. ... Undecided Republicans include Lee and Sens. In other words: if Republicans are able to begin debate on the bill, most people think it will pass. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been pressing Republicans to get on board and amend the package on the floor. If the bill reaches the floor, McConnell is expected to offer a manager's amendment, which could change parts of the bill in one fell swoop.

PROPUBLICA'S JUSTIN ELLIOTT: "Trump Lawyer Marc Kasowitz Threatens Stranger in Emails: 'Watch Your Back , Bitch'": "Kasowitz, President Trump's personal attorney on the Russia case, threatened a stranger in a string of profanity-laden emails Wednesday night. The man, a retired public relations professional in the western United States who asked not to be identified, read ProPublica's story this week on Kasowitz and sent the lawyer an email with the subject line: 'Resign Now.' Kasowitz replied with series of angry messages sent between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Eastern time. One read: 'I'm on you now. You are f***ing with me now Let's see who you are Watch your back , bitch.' 'The person sending that email is entitled to his opinion and I should not have responded in that inappropriate manner,' Mr. Kasowitz said. 'I intend to send him an email stating just that. JARED WATCH -- "Kushner pushed for more aggressive defense of Trump Jr. meeting," by Tara Palmeri: "Jared Kushner has been pressing other White House aides to more vigorously defend the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Kremlin-linked lawyer that Kushner also attended, but has faced resistance from some of Trump's top press aides, according to six sources familiar with the matter. Four White House officials and two outside advisers say Kushner wants the White House to more aggressively push out surrogates and talking points to change the narrative around the latest twist in the Russia scandal. ...

THE LATEST ON THE TRAVEL BAN -- "New directive may expand Trump travel ban," by Nahal Toosi and Ted Hesson: "President Donald Trump's travel ban may soon extend to many more countries under new visa procedures described in a State Department cable to consulates. The new consular guidance, which the State Department sent out Wednesday, follows through on Trump's March 6 executive order, which called for a worldwide review of visa security measures by the Department of Homeland Security. It's unclear whether the cable's strict vetting procedures will eventually supplant the administration's ban on travel from six majority-Muslim countries ... or whether even more restrictive vetting will be
