It's not just one covert meeting between Don Trump, Jr., senior Trump campaign officials, and Russian representatives in an attempt to undermine Hillary Clinton during last year's campaign - as if that wasn't bad enough.

Now, Bloomberg News is reporting that Trump family business dealings are under investigation for inappropriate and possibly illegal financial ties to Russia.

In a rambling and incoherent interview with the New York Times, it's clear Trump knew this was coming and made not-so-veiled threats to try and keep Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller from looking into his finances. This begs the question, is Trump laying the groundwork to fire Mueller for doing his job and conducting a thorough investigation?

And yet - with all these developments, we're still hearing crickets from House GOP leaders who look the other way and refuse to hold Trump accountable.

And when Mueller finds cause for impeachment - or is fired when he is on the brink of doing so - what's going to happen? If Paul Ryan and the GOP still run the House, we can expect more of the same: NOTHING.
