Awesome. Great work gentleman. 92 degrees, and 100% humidity and a lot of unconnected faces, essentially underground (no windows, where was the fire escape?) is a tall task. Well done Hunter and Chris. And a big hand to Alex and Arlene (maybe we send them something nice, like flowers or a picture of me and Devon). Clear objective and on task = full RSP wheel house. Bravo I thought a prerequisite for attendance to the event was to have slept with Chris or at least to have thought about it - am I missing something? (Thus why Eric, Devon and I did not attend). Onward and upward. We are cooking with gas! Everyone Got a chance to participate in the discussion and ad their unique perspective. The room was great and the mix of people really worked well. Ron McCord was great as was the Governor in getting a discussion going. The cocktail hour was a great way for a small group to get to know each other before we sat down and the Lady Bird rule worked pretty well I think. Obviously the most important opinions of how it went are those of our clients- and they seemed very happy. The highlight o the night was Dan Loeb telling everyone how Chris stole Gwenyth from him- Dan Pedroty and Chris Chaffe could really relate to that story because they both had/ have a relationship with Rich Trumka. The key to full success will be to cement the relationships and allow for a continuation of a discussion of the many different topics that were raised. To that end I've think we should have Alex reach out to everyone there through an email. (I told everyone at the end that we would be doing this.) she should summarize some of what was discussed and maybe suggest a continued conversation through email until we meet again in a few months. Bottom line- if we did one of these every two months we wouldn't have to do much more for out Alternative Investment clients. Chris was great by the way- very handsome and distinguished. He and McCord shared funny stories about their deviated septum's, he touched everyone in all the appropriate places- thighs and shoulders and was generally just a perfect gentleman. Whatever meds Devon has him on are perfect. Between the Beau event (best fund raiser I've ever been to) and tonight I am thinking we should consider just going into the event planning and hosting business.
