Hi Hunter,

Here is an administrative/clerical issue I would like to discuss with you:

Please do not pay me any salary for the month of February (for the reasons
below). I’m more than happy to do anything you ask or anything I can do to
be helpful as usual, and my proposal of not taking the Feb. salary is
really a personal decision as I don’t want to shortcharge you with so many
absent days requested below.

1. I felt very bad for not been able to help you on things that are keeping
you busy.

2. While I planned to get the entire LNG report translation done for you
ASAP, but with recovering from a bad cold/flu and then taking longer than I
expected on apartment hunting, I have not make enough progress on this as I
wished. It actually might make more sense for me to explain and present
the key points to you in person (besides the Cheniere founder story we
talked about, the other main points I want to share with you is about the
pricing mechanism of they used in relation to cost of construction +
China’s market condition + a few thoughts and investment ideas that we
could possibly extend from the findings of this research). (I’m making
good progress with moving and decorating my new home. I would love to
invite you to visit and make authentic Chinese meal for you after I finish
the move-in process :D)

3. I’m taking too many days off on February, I really should not waste your
money like this.

Feb. 15+16 for Chinese New Year celebration related volunteer work and
ceremonies. (Available over the phone)

Feb. 13: 0.5 day for an important personal appointment / conference call
related to Feb. 26+27 below. (Available over the phone)

Feb. 26+27 (or March 8+9): 1.5 day to help my mom with her divorce property
settlement negotiation/mediation process (don’t know which date yet, to be
confirmed with her lawyer and the appointed mediator on Feb. 13). I will
have to fly back to Arizona for this 1.5 days only.(in AZ)

I’m very sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, especially when I
don’t know which day you will have time to be in NY amidst of your busy
schedule.

Promise I will make it up for you in March :)

Besides Chinese New Year; I was not expecting to take the other days off
until yesterday over the weekend phone calls with mom.

I will also talk to Kevin/Mervyn that there is no need to process the Feb
paycheck and the days that I request absent above, either today or tomorrow
when they are in the office.

On another note, please let me know when you have time for two of us to
catch up, discuss and bounce off ideas on business opportunities
/strategies for 2018.
