Thank you so much for taking the time to meet with me today. I enjoyed our conversation and getting to know you, and I look forward to learning more about you over the course of our work together.

I wanted to remind you, once again, that this process is an individual process. Be confident in who you are and what you have done, as we will work together to craft your story to share it in your applications. Every student takes a different path to get to college, so be comfortable with exactly where you are (and the college counseling office will make sure you meet your deadlines!).

It was good speaking to you and learning about the things that you are interested in. I have seen you play and you are a talented and strong athlete. Let me know how your visit to Colorado College goes when you return

I am also glad that we had the chance to discussed standardized testing. As of now, this is your plan for the following standardized tests:

* ACT: You plan on taking the ACT in April.
SAT II Subject Tests - we can talk about at our next meeting
AP Exams - US History
If there is anything you wish to change/update in regards to your testing plan, please keep me posted.

I know that you are completing your US History research paper on Charles Manson. C Span has great historical information on their website - https://www.c-span.org/video/?314660-1/manson
You can always google C span and a topic - and it will bring up information. C spam has a book series so usually they are interviews with credible scholars on the topic.

Remember to schedule your 2nd appoint with me by speaking to Jackie Morillas or emailing her at morillasj@sidwell.edu<mailto:morillasj@sidwell.edu> Complete the vital qualities worksheet and return to me. I would then like to you complete two College Board searches (https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/find-colleges) and either save your results as a PDF and send them to me electronically or print them out and bring them to our next meeting. These two assignments are required for our next meeting - if you do not have these items completed, you will be asked to reschedule.
