Dear Robert,

As we approach the last days of 2010, I'm extremely proud when I look back on this year.

We stood unwavering through the darkest of nights when it appeared obstructionism and cynicism would prevail, passing Wall Street Reform to keep consumers safe, welcoming our newest Justice Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, and keeping the Senate majority from falling into the Republican Party's hands.

We fought for Nevadans and families across the nation praying for just a little bit of help, for apprehensive graduates entering an uncertain future, and for small business owners building their own American dreams against formidable odds.

And through it all, you stood by me in the toughest days of my campaign, when, together, we won an election night victory that many said was impossible.

Though there are still many fights ahead, let us take this holiday season with our family and friends to think about how much we have to be proud of, and how much we have to be grateful for.

I wish you and your family safe and happy holidays.
