Florida High Speed Rail Public Meeting: Lakeland (Polk County)


The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to
which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:
January 26, 2011, 4:30 p.m. - 7 p.m.

PLACE:
The Lakeland Center, Lake Hunter Room
710 West Lime Street
Lakeland, Florida 33851

The Florida Department of Transportation will conduct a public
information meeting to provide information on potential Polk County
station locations for the Florida High Speed Rail project. Potential
station locations include the following: SR 570 West Station, Kathleen
Road Station and those station sites associated with the USF Polytechnic
location. This public information meeting will be held in an open house
format and will provide the opportunity for interested parties to
briefly present their views. The open house will be held from 4:30 p.m.
to 6 p.m. and the presentation of views will be held from 6 p.m. to 7
p.m. Project staff will be available to answer questions.
