Hello, Winter training has begun and it is time to sign the first of several waivers that we are required to submit for our rowing and racing activities. Fortunately most of these waivers can be filled out online, and they should only take a few minutes to complete. Sidwell Friends Rowing is an organizational member of US Rowing and each rower is required to complete a US Rowing waiver to participate in the crew season. There will be a link at the bottom of this message which will take you where you need to go to access the waiver. Children under the age of 18 must have their parents or guardian complete the waiver for them. You will need some additional information to begin the process: 1. You will be asked for a roster number. It is TW-733731 2. Type in the last name of the rower. Returning rowers should see their name pop up. If you are new to rowing, follow the directions to be added to the roster. 3. When asked if you have an individual membership, check "No". 4. Complete the rower's personal information, date of birth, address etc. and read the fine print before checking submit. 5. At the end of the process you will be provided with a US Rowing member ID. 6. Brooke will be able to access the roster through this website to make sure that everyone is signed up. Signing the waiver does not guarantee participation on the team, it is simply a requirement that we provide waivers for our roster at the time that we renew our US Rowing membership.
