Dear Robert,

As we've watched the Republicans prepare for their futile fight to repeal Health Care Reform, it's more evident each day how important keeping control of the Senate in November was. Our campaign was hard-fought and hard-won--but victory came with a real price tag. And although my team has been working hard to pay down the last of our remaining debt, unfortunately we haven't quite made it yet.

The thing is, right now my full attention is on protecting health care reform from the GOP's repeal tactics. We've all seen how eager my Republican colleagues are to take health care away from middle class families, senior citizens, and young college graduates still searching for a job with benefits--not to mention their willingness to irresponsibly run up our deficit by repealing these reforms that already are beginning to repair our economy. This is what we're up against, and it's why I need your help one last time.
