DAGA will return to beautiful Key Biscayne, Florida in January 2011! Mark
your calendar for the 2011 DAGA Winter Policy Conference on January 28-29,

anticipated to attend.

DAGA has built a substantive agenda for the conference including:

attendance
* A discussion group profiling NAAG President Attorney General Roy
Cooper’s Presidential Initiative, Fighting Financial Fraud
* A panel highlighting corporate citizenship
* A timely presentation from the Ballot Initiative Strategy Center
* And a discussion roundtable identifying the various efforts of the
technology industry to combat fraud

_2011 DAGA Spring Reception and Dinner_

_Registration will open in mid-January._

DAGA will hold our annual Spring Reception and Dinner on Sunday, March 6,
2011 at La Maison Francaise at the French Embassy at 4101 Reservoir Road,
NW, Washington, DC. We will begin with a reception at 6:00 PM and dinner
will be served at 7:00 PM. Registration will open in mid-January. This event
is DAGA’s largest event of the year. Last year, we hosted 17 Attorneys
General and 200 members and special guests. We hope you will mark your
calendars to join us for this event!

We are not holding a room block for this event, so please plan any overnight
accommodations you will need accordingly. Additional details of the event
will be released in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please do not

Attorney General Steve Bullock argues Montana’s case for the nations top
court this morning, claiming Wyoming has not held up there end of the
bargain on a fifty year old agreement at the expense of Southeast Montana
irrigators. Bullock is defending Montana’s right to a fair share of water
that flows into the state form Wyoming.

Kamala Harris, former San Francisco District Attorney became the first
woman, first African American, and first Asian Indian to become the Attorney
General in California. Hundreds attended the historic occasion. Several
history makers were in the audience: former speaker of the House Willie

leaders, union leaders, ministers, elected officials, state leaders,
national NAACP board members, Black newspaper publishers, and people who
wanted to be a part of history. Excitement was high as a large crowd waited
in the courtyard of the California Museum for History, Women and the Arts in
Sacramento.
