Hi guys,


Here is some background with the call with the NCR Public Sector guys
tomorrow (3-4pm EST).


USPS Account Situation:

. NCR currently provides the "counter" POS software at 15,000 USPS
locations

. The USPS has been using NCR software for the past 15 years

. NCR provides annual support for software feature changes and
upgrades on an ongoing basis

. The current contract is a short term year by year extension of a
previous long term contract that has expired

. The USPS is frustrated by the on-going software support and change
fees. NCR says the USPS wants offshore pricing but requires the work to be
done in the US

. The USPS has issued and RFP to replace the "counter" software, the
RFP has about 10,000 requirements to meet.

. Here is a list of the vendors who received the RFP. The RPF is
due sometime in February.

o Escher Group, Ltd - Hq in Boston.

o Fujitsu America, Inc. - SAP partner for NA, currently migrating USG
COBOL software to .NET IBM

o Oracle Corporation

o PCMS Datafit Inc. - IBM POS software Gold Partner SAP Public Services,
Inc. - largest supplier of ERP software to USG agencies

o Wincor Nixdorf - German firm specializing in retail POS and bank
cash/fund handling transactions

o IBM


NCR Objectives:

. Disqualify non-US vendors (Fujitsu & Wincor)

. Win, delay or cancel RFP

. Push RFP selection or project start to 2012 or beyond

. Open up a dialog with senior USPS management

o NCR Chairman had a relationship the most recent Post Master General but
does not have an remaining senior relationships

. Bring new ideas and revenue opportunities to NCR (Blockbuster
Express, Immigration Services, etc.)


Other Public Sector opportunities:

. Amtrak - NCR is currently supplying the POS and Inventory
Management software for on train concessions

o Expand current business

. Other


Arrangement:

. 6 months

. $12.5k per month
