> 1) Tuesday, November 29: All School Diversity Committee Meeting -
> “Cultural Competence: A Critical Skill for the 21st Century" in the
> Meeting House, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
> From the Tuesday Letter, “This session will equip us, as members of
> the Sidwell community, with a common language and framework to
> understand the importance of diversity and inclusion at our school.
> Dr. Jones will share specific tools, tips and techniques for
> teaching respect for differences and practicing cultural competence
> at home and beyond. Please join us as we advance our ongoing efforts
> to build and nurture an inclusive school community that welcomes a
> diversity of people, ideas, cultures and principles of equity and
> justice. Sitter service will be provided during the meeting. The
> cost is $13 for each child, which includes pizza. Children should be
> at least four years old and non-SFS siblings are welcome to join the
