Hi there - have attached the draft language for the bill we’ve been asked to support. It will be introduced today, and will be in committee in the first week of May. On the face, there’s nothing here that seems problematic to me. I think, and I don’t know what Patty thinks, that paragraph (r) is the most important. I’ve also attached a two page document from the DOE describing why this is an issue. Have uploaded these both to the google drive. I’d like to pass this to someone like Chris Putala to take a look at, if that’s ok with you. We’ll need to make a decision if we want to fully support this bill by Monday.
