Friend,

The idea that my wife Chelsey, my mom, or any other woman in my life could be paid less than a man for doing the same job is mind-blowing. In 2016, that shouldn't be a possibility.

Unfortunately, it is. Every April 12th, we acknowledge Equal Pay Day - the day that women's wages finally catch up to what men made the previous year. If you agree that the gender pay gap is unacceptable, please sign now and call for equal pay for equal work.

I lost my father when I was very young, and my mother was the sole wage-earner for our family. By denying her equal wages, our family suffered. That story is currently playing out all across the country as women are still not paid fairly. It's inexcusable and it's damaging. Women deserve equal pay, period. Please sign on if you agree. go.democrataction.com/page/s/equalpayday?source=Mowrer

Thank you,
