Our panelists for the presentation will include— Guy Harrison – Mr. Harrison serves at the helm of the NRCC for his second consecutive election cycle. Mr. Harrison helped guide the committee to an increase of 63 seats during the 2010 election. Prior to serving on the NRCC, Mr. Harrison was a longstanding aide to Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Tex., most recently serving for almost 10 years as the congressman’s chief of staff. Rob Jesmer – Mr. Jesmer has served as the executive director of the NRSC since 2009. Mr. Jesmer is a veteran of numerous political campaigns, including serving as campaign manager to John Cornyn’s race for U.S. Senate and political director of John McCain’s presidential campaign. Mr. Jesmer’s political experience also includes serving as the Southeast regional political director for the Republican National Committee and as chief of staff to Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala. Bill Paxon – Mr. Paxon is a senior advisor at Akin Gump. A five-term member of Congress from 1989 to 1999, Mr. Paxon played a key role as chairman of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) in electing and re-electing the first House GOP majorities since the 1920s. John Sununu – Mr. Sununu is a senior policy advisor at Akin Gump. Beginning in 1996, Sen. Sununu served for three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and, subsequently, for six years as the youngest member of the U.S. Senate.
