Hunter, Joan & Eric -- Per Rick's note below, would it be possible to post the following tweet to Hunter's account this afternoon in support of the report? We're seeing the highest displaced population since WWII. @WFPUSA & partners share crucial solutions: wfpusa.org/humanitarianreport<http://wfpusa.org/humanitarianreport> #humanitarian? This is a product of the Humanitarian Crisis Response Initiative we discussed at our last board meeting in February. An exclusive, in-depth look at the report's recommendations was just published on ?The Christian Science Monitor?<http://www.csmonitor.com/World/2016/0412/The-world-needs-to-change-the-way-it-helps-its-most-needy.-Here-s-how>. WFP USA plans to use this report and its recommendations as one of the cornerstones of our public policy advocacy activities over the next 2-3 years. Our goal will be seek to influence US humanitarian policy and funding to improve the quality and effectiveness of international response to the unprecedented number of refugees and displaced people currently in need of WFP food and other forms of humanitarian assistance. We are sharing this report with administration officials and Members of Congress. We will follow-up with you concerning specific opportunities to promote the recommendations set forth in the Report.
